Sundays at Gayton
We hope you will visit us soon! When you walk in the front doors, you will see one of our greeters who can help point you in the right direction. With two worship services and two opportunities for Bible study, there’s a place for your whole family! Make sure you say hello to one of our pastors. The front entrance will put you just outside the Worship Center on the Second Floor. The elevator and stairwell at the end of the hall will take you downstairs to Children’s Ministry rooms and the GBC Office.
Worship at 9:30 and 11:00am
We enjoy beautiful and diverse expressions of worship here at Gayton. Pastor Phil shares relevant and poignant messages from God’s Word at each service, supported by creative elements which help reinforce God’s truth. Our musical palate ranges from contemporary rock at the 9:30am service, to our 11:00am service, which combines the great songs of today with the powerful hymns of our faith tradition all for the goal of helping our members and guests give glory to God and grow in their commitment to follow Jesus Christ.
- What do I wear?
You will see suits and jeans, and everything in between. The 9:30 and 11:00am services are primarily business casual.
- Where do I take my kids?
At 9:30 and 11:00 on Sundays, our Children’s Ministry is centered around the downstairs hallway, with the exception of our Nursery (Birth-Infants Room 210, Infants-22 months Room 212.) Kids Sunday School classes are offered at 9:30, and Kids’ Worship and Preschool Worship are offered at 11:00.
- I have a middle schooler and/or high schooler — what is available for them?
We offer youth Bible study at 9:30 and 11:00. All of those take place in the upstairs hallway. Ask a greeter at the front door if you need a hand finding one of those rooms.
- The kids are taken care of, what’s available for me?
Our adult Bible studies at both hours are a great opportunity to dig into God’s Word. We invite you to visit a Sunday School class as you discover the best class for you. View the 9:30AM and 11:00AM Sunday School Class lists.

You will find handicap parking marked just outside the front and rear entrances of Gayton Baptist Church.
Need to drop someone off at the front door? The “loop” will take you right to the front door where you can drop someone off before you park.
Along with handicap parking, our facility is equipped with handicap restrooms, and our greeters will be more than happy to assist you in finding a seat in the Worship Center. Entry is easy, through either the front or rear entrances, and an elevator outside the Worship Center allows for easy access to both floors of the facility.
